Hey,

I'm Zach.

I’m a 15-year-old photographer and hockey player from Upstate New York. I balance my passion for photography with my love for hockey, playing for the Capital District Jets and the Troy Albany Titans.

I discovered my love for photography at 12 when I joined the Shaker Middle School Yearbook Club. Living in Upstate New York, I’m inspired by the natural beauty around me — from rolling hills and dense forests to peaceful lakes. I especially love shooting during early mornings and late afternoons when the light adds a powerful, cinematic feel to my photos.

My portfolio includes nature photography, sports action shots, and portraits of friends and family. I enjoy capturing real, meaningful moments — whether it’s a quiet street in my town, a pickup hockey game, or a small detail in nature. I try to tell a story through every image I take.

I’ve photographed many local events, and my work has been featured on school district and athletics social media pages, as well as in multiple art shows. I’ve also completed my school’s photography classes (UHS), where I continued learning and growing as a photographer.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m on the ice competing and pushing myself to improve. Hockey has taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance — qualities that carry over into my photography.

My goal with photography is to capture powerful game moments, grow my skills, and build a strong brand that athletes trust.
